Question
What should I do with my old filter system after installing the VWP Water Processor™?
Answer
Depending on what you filter is being used for, it may not be necessary to continue using it. If it is purely a water softener, you can probably remove it. If it is for filtering out particles of silt or sediment from your well or water supply, keep it in place. The VWP Water Processor is not intended to remove solid particles.
Question
I have an old ground well at my summer house. During the winter I turn off the water and drain the pipes. Will the VWP Water Processor™ work when I turn it back on next year?

Yes, but you have to start the process over every year. Try turning on the water a month in advance, so the process will be up and running.

Answer
The technology was invented in 1993 and original installations are still working.
Troubleshooting
Question
I have installed a VWP200™ in my house but I do not notice any difference. Have I done something wrong?
Answer
Make sure the processor is mounted correctly according to the instructions. It must not be touching anything other than the pipe; totally free of the wall, floor and other objects. There also must not be anything in between the processor and the pipe, like tape, glue, insulation etc. It must also be mounted 60cm (2 ft) from any power source. Contact us for more assistance.
